My name is Alex A. Sioris and this application is the result of a lifetime's effort towards understanding
the complications of the musical system of the "Western World."
Anyone who has tried to play a melody on any instrument or tried to learn how to "play music"
through books or private instruction will agree that the first impression was that music is a
hard subject to understand.
Many people give up their efforts after a few lessons, a few persist a little longer
and then give up and a small percentage stay the course although they never really
understand the reality behind 'playing' music.
The purpose of this book is to present the reality to the seasoned player or to
the novice who wishes to ejnoy a casual musical experience.
